MILLERTON "aND GRANITY MINERS OUT. (United Press Association.) WESTPORT, This Day. The Millerton and Granity coalminers strucic this morning and the mine is completely idle. The Millerton correspondent of the Times alleges that the men had a substantial grievance for many months past. At a stop-work meeting this morning, Mr Davidson, President, and Mr Williams, secretary, addressed the men and resolved to send a delegation to the Company’s manager, who was available at Granity. The interview'was without result, and a strike was immediately declared.
