RESUMPTION OF MASKING. (Press Association —Copyright. 1 ) SYDNEY, March 26. Cabinet has decided to postpone the Royal Agricultural Show owing to the increase of influenza. The races so far are not affected. Masking in trams and trains will be compulsory from Friday. PRECAUTIONS IN SYDNEY. (Rec. 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The masking regulation applies to all public conveyances., but there will be no embargo upon outdoor sports, churches, and theatres. A further regulation about to be issued prohibits persons remaining more than five minutes in hotel bars. The Government has requisitioned the Show Ground buildings for hospital accommodation. The following weekly report of influenza cases is furnished by the Hon. G. W. Russell: Kaipara 1 mild,' Whangarei 2 severe, Auckland 1 severe, 2 mild, Waikato 1 severe, Cook County 1 pneumonic, Waipawa 2 mild, Stratford 9 mild, Hawera 1 pneumonic, Wanganui 3 mild, Palmerston North 2 mild, North Canterbury 2 mild, 1 unstated, South Canterbury 1 severe. The total is 40 against' 27 the previous week, but the severe cases show a marked reduction, the total last week being 14. During the week according to advice received no cases had been reported in Fiji.
