MOVEMENT TO REVIVE GOLDMINING.

The Thames County .Council h'as decided to join the Coromandel Council in a' conference on the subject of the revival of -fining;' intended _to ask all local bodies in the Hauraki mining district to participate with the object of securing an alteration in the mining .Taw's, which were framed 30 years 'ago for conditions entirely (similar from those of the present day.
