CANADIAN PUBLIC WORKS. POLICY.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable As ouitioni OTTAWA, Jan. 22. Speaking at Winnipeg, the Hon. A. Meighen, Minister for the Interior, said that Canada intended expending ten million sterling on public works and railways. The Canadian war debt had reached a total of two hundred millions sterling, and the country’s total debt was expected to reach three hundred millions.
