PARES, January 18. A policeman t'rhtjedi'a- motor car'which was stolen by four American deserters. Three /pOlice • inspectors attempted to arrest the JdCsehthrs, 1 ! who fired revolvers, shooting- one in the stomach and another the head. Both were sepi to 'hospital in a dangerous condition. ■
One American was arrested, and was nearly lynched. The others were arrested later.
