DOMINION TOURNAMENT. RINKS WON BY JURY’S TEAM. WALKER THE SINGLES CHAMPION (United Frew Association.» AUCKLAND, Jan. 20. The vink and singles championship at the Dominion bowling tournament were decided to-day. In the semi-final of the rinks, Jury (Karangahake) 23 defeated) Mclntyre (Carlton) 21. The final was won easily by Jury 22 v. Kilgour (Carlton) 14. Walker (Ponsonby) and Spiller (Greymouth) metin the final of the singles, Spiller having defeated Wooller (Remuera) in the semi-final. Wooller ceased play at the sixteenth head. ( Walker won the final by 20 to 12, at the twentieth head. The semi-finals and finals of the rail's will be decided to-morrow, when Walker meets Jury and the winner meets Hurston (Gisborne). To-day Huestou 22 defeated Kum.mer (Ponsonby) 17.
MAITAI CLUB. A progressive pair s tournament was played on the Maitai green on Saturday, and was won by Levy (s) and Mercer, who won all their games. It is proposed to send three rinks to Motueka on rebruary 22nd to play a ‘district competi ion match. Representative matches between the Wellington and Nelson-Marlborough centres will be played at Wellington on February 21st and 22nd. It is hoped that all the Nelson Clubs will be represented by one or more rinks.
