CROWING ALLIED INSISTENCE

The • German press is .anxiously watching the growing Allied insistence; on inden^njties. The Frankfurter Zeitung warns the Allies to be sober enough fco„realise- that it never pave to enslave a great people. Slave labour is . notoriously unproductive. _ The paper appeals' to Americans, pointing out that, Germany is no longer a dangerous rival, in the world markets, and ,that tlje exaction of an indemnity means greater, danger of losing -Germany as. a business sphere.
