COMMENCEMENT OF THE FLAG
DRIVE.
The Fla£ Drive in aid of the Red Cross "Our Day" Special Appeal was commenced to-day, and ithe -wellknown emblem was in evidence on a lareg number of windows. Some business establishments were liberally' decorated with Hags, each of_wliich indicated a donation of ss. in & ' City has been partitioned off, and arrangements completed for a thorough canvass of business premises- and private houses. Tahuna will participate in the drive as a separate district, and Mesdamts Bamford and Taunt have been appointed collectors by the Red Gross Association.
