Mrs L. G. Fawoet,..Tadmor, has received advice that ■ her husband, was removed from the seriously ill list on October *3rd' and -was admitted to Walton-on-Thames hosoital.
Word has been received that Private P.. D. Day has been wounded and admitted to Hospital suffering from gunshot wound •in ' the right leg. He left New Zealand with the 22nd Reinforcements' and; prior to enlisting was employed by Mr Flatt, plumber, Bridge St.
Mr. A. Frost, of Tipahi-street, was advised to-day that his son, Private Nolan Frost, has been removed from the seriously ill to the dangerously ill list. Private Frost was wounded in the chest and kit arm on October 3rd.
The friends l , of ,Corporal A. B. White formerly in the National Bank at Nelson'and Gisborhe, will, hear with great regret that he wa,, killed in action in France "on .September 30. Much sympathy will be felt for his sHoer, Nurse White, who only returned from the front Oh the 11th ihst.,. while, her mother, .Mrs Mary White, passed away, at Tahunanui the following day.
