. AUCKLAND, July 6. The Princess 'Maj-v Hospital for Children, erected: by the Auckland Hospital Board at a cost of £21,000, was formally opened to-day by the Countess of LiverP< The Hon: CW. Russell (Minister in Charge of Hospitals, delivered'a speech, emphasising the necessity for conserving the health of the children. The new hospital is a handsome building of four large wards and ten smaller wards for isolation and observation cases, accommodating 70 patients.
