At. the annual meeting of the Niew Zealand Country ißacing Clubs' Association, the report urged the-need for & readjustment of district representation, but stated thnt the executive had been advised not, to press the matter till after the A* resolution was adopted that the clubs in each metropolitan district; ;|iffiliated with the Association appoint one delegates each to be and; act a« JftCOl branches of the Association. ;':,;,. A resolution was also adopted protesting against the Racing pomting racecourse detectives at a, high cost, the Association _ considering WW appointments should remain in the hands' of the clubs. ■j.'tss.'* The election of officers resulted._: Resident, 'Mr A. Bruce; vice-president, Mr J H. Finnev (both re-elected)-.;- executive, Messrs ,E. W. Alison, H. H. .(North Island), D. J. E.va«j s a.nd Patterson (South Island).
