Sir. —I am not in the least degree surprised, or even slightly disappointed with Mr Carlisle's reply to. my very reasonable request, and it may probably appeal to any and every reasonable mind that for a man who is such in ardent advocate of prohibition, he displays a remarkable intiaiacy with, the construction of A. CORKSCREW.
