SANITARY AFFAIRS AT RICHMOND.

(To the Editor.)

Six, —Being a member of the deputation representing the School Committee who waited on the Borough Coumil, I wish to say that three of the Committee men present were not allowed to speak, as was intended, in order to _explain more fully the object of our visit. We thought it was our duty to meet the Council on the matter and see what could be done in reference to the sanrU arv affairs and the health of the chil-4| dren attending the school. There vrerei several things we were going; to dra-w attention to which really exist in the main street of Richmond, but not being allowed to speak we could not do so. In conclusion I wish to state htat the matter now rests with higher authorities. I am, etc., „,.-.- A COMMITTEEMAN.
