ANARCHIST MOVEMENT AT MOSCOW

PETROGRAD, May 20. It is officially announced that the anarchist" movement at .Moscow has been completely suppressed. Eighty anarchist organisations have bee n dissolved, and over 500 members arrested. Order was re-established after severe gunfie, which causd serious damage. _ The Soviets have proclaimed Russian Turkestan a republic. A. telegram from. Tiftts, dated 12th inst., states that peace pourparlers "between the Caucasus Diet and the Ottoman Government have been broke n off owing to the enormous demands of the Turks, who immediately began an energetic offensive on the whole front. They occupied the town of. Van, and massacred the Armenian population. It is reported from. Manchuria- that Semenoff's Cossacks have joined forces with 'Chinese .detachments.

CZAR TO BE TRIED.

PETROGRAD, May 20.

A Moscow telegram states that a Bolshevik commission, presided over by Krylenko, ordered the trial of the Czar on charges including causing the coup d'etat, changing the electoral law of the Duma, and illegally disbursing pub lie funds.

An escort of Lettish Rifles has been sent to Tobolsk to Tivring the 'Czar to Moscow.

Food disorders have occurred at Pavlosky. Peasants and .workmen burned the Soviet's building, and several members of the Sovet were burned to doath. A detachment of Red Guards fired on the mob. 30 being killed or wounded.

GERM AX DEMAND'S ON POLAND

Th e Germans in the occupied portion of Poland have demanded delivery of 100,000 cattle and 30,000 pigs, comprising one-fifth of the entire stock of the country.
