MILITARY WEDDING
A full military wedding was solemnised at St. Paul's Cathedral, Wellings ton, on 'Thursday-, May 2nd, tho contracting parties being Frances Irene Mayer, third daughter of tho Rev. 1. A .'and Mr Mayer, of Hastings (formerly of Richmond), and Sergeant Wilnam Kayo, of the 37th .Reinforcements. Tho ceremony was performed by Major (Canon) Taylor, Senior Chaplain of ; Trontham Military Camp. The bride was given away by her brother, Q.M.S. Mayer, of the 9th Hawlce's Bay Regiment, and was daintily attired in a , white crepe-de-chine frock and veil of 'tulle with wreath of orange-blossoms. She carried an exquisite, shower bouquet of pink and white roses, with maidenhair fern. The attendant, ■■bridesi maid, Miss H. Dorothy Mayer, sister of the bride, wore a pretty silk frock and caried' a beautiful bouquet of pink spider lily, maidenhair fern and autumn leaves. Sergeant D. J.
