IN MEMORIAM.
BROWN\ —In loving memory of G. W. Brown, No. 12/3274, who was killed iu action "France," May 19th, 1916. We think of him in silence, And his name is oft recalled; There is nothing left to answer But his photo on the wall. He sleeps not in his native land, But, underneath the skies Far, far from one who loves him, In a hero's grave he lies. A hero, laid beneath the sod With honour, has returned to God; He's put aside his gun and sword, And gone to claim his just reward. (Inserted by G. E. Lines.)
