SIR DOUGLAS EAIG REPLIES TO QUEEN MARY.

LONDON, May 3. Queen Mary's letter, containing a message of hope and praise from, the women of the British Empire to, the Navy, Army; and Air, forces, has been published. in a special i order of. the day for the information rof the troops iii France, with the following telegram to the Queen from Sir Douglas Haig : . "The message Your Majesty, sent to the Army and Air Force, -in th? name- of, the women ot the British ; Empire,.-will inspire with new ;strength and fresh determination all those •ljrave •'. men from every-part of ■ the Empire who,' on the, battlefields ofl France and Flanders, are, lighting so caltantly for all' they; hold most dear.
