FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT.
FIRE BRIGADE MAN KILLED

DUXEDIN, May 16.
A man named Baxter, a fireman Tn the City Brigade, was killed to-night by the" overturning of a small motoi engine used for carrying the reel, ■while r-ounding a street corner. The accident is all the more distressing as the brigade - turned out in response to a malicious false alarm. The same man had a leg broken while attending a tfire some years ago. Two other men named Oliver and -M'Gill, who were on the reel, w-»re also injured and were taken Hospital.
