WELLINGTON, May 17. .Tlie conference of the New Zealand Agricultural and Pastoral Worker* Union decided to submit the following demands to employers for wages of. mustercrs, shepherds, and packers,:Where mustercrs are engaged by the. day 5 the wages shall bo 17s 6d -a,.day;,,. when engaged by the week or for a. term of less than three months,, the wariea shall be not less than a -week. Where mustercrs are called upon to do snow-raking the wages paid *kW bo 25s a day. 'Packers shall bei paid 15a a day or 70s a week. Shopherde engaged by the vear shall be paid not less, than £l5O per annum. Shephesde en-, gaged by the week for a lesser terijt' than three months shall be paid at th 6 rate of £4 15s a week. .Conditions ijit each case: Food of good quality* together with adequate accommodation, be provided by the employer. Musterj ■era' horses shall be. kept shod and JEed at tho expense of the employer. Thp employer shall provide adequate sleeping hiits at each sunset camping place, and in addition there shall be \ fuel for cooking purposes supplied by the ehv ployer at each camping hut. The emplover shall, provide watertight oilcloth or in some other, way supply means to; keep workers' clothes dry while in transit from camn to camp..
