Griffiths and Co. Ltd. (incorporating Braid and Wallace) report the nVellington market a 6 firm, and increasing demand is very evident for all choice lines of fruit now offering, and they strongly, advise regular-"shipment's of both apples and pears. The monthly Island steamer arrived this week, landing some 5000 cases fruit, but even this quantity has not affected the market for local fruit. Values to-day' are as follow :
