RUN OVER BY A TRAIN.
JRETURNED SOLDIER KILLED

TE KUITI, This Day. "William Nash, aged 44 years, a discharged soldier, working at _ Putaruru, ■who'jros a passenger to Wellington tempted to board the train at Te Kuiti last evening, but missed his footing and fell. The train passed over him. He tiied almost immediately as a result of liis injuries. Deceased was a native of Sydney.
