The following additional nominations were readen to-day-, in connection "with the Nelson Licensing Committee election :

Francis Alexander Shaw Carlisle, 'nominated by Messrs A. B. Emmett, W. G. Tiller, and C. MiJner. 'Henry Oscar Holdaway, nominated by Messrs B. A. Miller and E. G. Wood. William Sanders Mears. nominated by Messrs. G. L. Page and O. Gibson. Thomas Pettit, nominated- by-G.-'E. Manning and E. E. Bisley. •-Robert Watson, nominated by C. H. Batehelor and *H. F. Kidson. , •MessrsJ. E. Bartlett, P. Beet, E. v Cann,~ and T. S. Edwards had been previously nominated. The have now closed and the election wil take place on Tuesday, 12th March. "
