THE HONG KONG DISASTER.
SIX HUNDRED' LIVES LOST. (Australian and N.Z. Gable Association WASHINGTON, Feb. 27. The Secretary of State learns that nearly 600 lives were lost in the Hong Kong disaster, due to the collapse. of a bamboo booth, which was due to panic and fire. No Europeans were killed.
