RACECOURSE TRAGEDY
BAMBOO BOOTH COLLAPSES. (Rec. Feb. 28, 2.10 p.m.) HONG'KONG, Feb. 27. A bamboo "booth on a racecourse, seating several thousands, collapsed and •took fire. Frightful scenes followed. A hundred' people were incinerated. The rapidity of the fire and the intense heat rendered assistance difficult.
