rss&GRAIN AND' PRODUCE. CANTERBURY QUOTATIONS. * (United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 26. Wheat business is steady, fairly large parcels being purchased by Government brokers. There is a keen demand for oats ,due to short offerings, consequent upon the mills devoting their attention mainly to wheat. Algerians are quoted at 3s 3d to 3s 6d per bushel, with 3s 7d for seed lines ,• Gai-tons 3s 5d to 3s 7d; Duns 3s 4d to is 7d. .Chaff is firm, supplies at present being short £3 15s to £4 5s per ton. Barley is worth 5s 6d to 5s 9d per bushel with 6s for extra prime. Grass seed is anything but plentiful. Prices range from lOid to 13d per lb. There is little demand for onions. Prices range from £3 10s to £3 15s per ton. Potatoes are quoted at £3 to £3 5s per ton.
