STOCK SALES REPORT.

The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile, Agency Co., Ltd., report on their recent sales a 9 follows : At Murchison on Friday, 15th inst., we offered a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. Good sound mouth ewes were in good demand, whilst wethers were in poor demand as compared with the previous month's eale. Grown bullocks realised good figures, the majority going towards Canterbury. Townsend and- Paul Ltd. report as follows on the -Wellington Fruit and p roduce market.— Reduced consignments of apples and oears are coming to hand and prices are firmer. Choice lines are selling at payable prices, but inferior quality apples are hard to quit. The market has improved for tomatoes and choice lines are selling at fair prices. Peaches, plums, nectarines, and all .stone fruits p.re in good demand and we recommend consignments promptly. We quote to-day's values: Apricots, Roxburgh 7s 6d to 8s 6d half case.
