HELPING HAND SKOP.
Satisfactory business was done at the Helping Hand Shop this week, and the lied Cross Fund benefits to the extent of £2l 8s 63. The expenses vere 8s 6d. Contributions- were received from Happy Valley, Atawhai, Wakapuaka, Rica•mond, Stoke, Ennerglyn, Tahunanui, The Port, and the City. The blackberries gathered by three littlo children residing at were most acceptable, and the committee thank them for the effort they made to obtain them.
