(Special to Mail.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 2. Griffiths and Co. report on the Wellington market as follows:—Only fair demand exists for all apples offering, and the American shipment is also movinc slowlv,- weather conditions being doubtless" the contributing cause. •Values to-day:— Sturmers, extra choice, 14s to 15s; others. 12s to 13s 6d bushel: Doughertys, choice, 15s to 17s: Rokewood, Commerce, 10- to 31s 6d : cookers according to sample. 9s to 12s bushel. Pears, cool stored Canterbury selling at 12s to 13s half-case for Coles and Nelis. Most other varieties finished. Gooseberres wanted, sales to-day.sd to 6d per lb; rhubarb 4s to 6s dozen bundles; asparagus 5s to 8s dozen btmdles. , . , Sydnev frut sold at fairly hi eh rates. Green peas, caoice 2s to 5s peck. Others mosflv" spotted and heated 9d to Is 6d peck. New potatoes, 2Ad to 3d lb; old 80s to 90s uer ton. Poultry, butter, eggs, wanted.
