RE-CLASSIFICATION POSTPONE]*, The secretary of the Nelson section ~o|f the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association has received the following telegrams:— From the president of the association: —"Clause 29, sub-clauses 1 and 2 of the Appropriation Bill, now before the House, postpones general ro-classifi-cation of the Public Service until April. 1920, and deprives the service of any special re-classification of any particular position above £250 without vote of Parliament." Fo-om the general secretary of. the association: —"Re-classification ; arbitrarily postponed by Appropriation Bill until April, 1920. No relief in way of additional war bonus as granted to railwaymen is to be paid."
