A. E. GRADDOCK SENTENCED. [United Press Association.) CHRISTCHUROH, Nov.l, At the Supreme Court criminal sittings, Alfred Ernest Craddock, convicted yesterday of fraudulent conversion of trust moneys, was further charged with the theft of "various sums—from the trustees of the Trench Estate, £566 10s, W. J. Trench, £7O j iSamuel Gallagher, £250; and Edward Adkins £292 pleaded guilty to the charges concerning: the Trench Estate and W. J. Trench. In connection with the other cases, to which he pleaded not guilty, no evidence was offered, and a formal verdict of not guilty was returned. Craddock was sentenced to three years imprisonment on each charge on which he was found guilty, the sentences to ran concurrently.
