THEFT OF LODGE FUNDS
A MOTUEKA CASE. At Motueka yesterday, before Messrs J. A. Walace and J. H. Rankin, Justices, Frederick Rodger, ex-secrelary ~of the Namai Lodge of Druids, No. 60, was charged with the theft of £285 14s sd, moneys belonging to the Trustees. After the hearing of evidence for the prosecution, accused pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court at Wellington for sentence. ■
