PURCHASED HONOURS
REWARDS FOR PARTY SUBSCRIPTIONS. (Australian and N.Z. Oable Association) LONDON, Nov. 1. Following speeches in the House of Lords, wherein instances were cited of honours being granted or offered for subscriptions to party funds, Lord Curzon announced on behalf of the Government that the reasons for bestowal would be definitely stated in future. Also that the Premier, in rec6mmen,dirig anyone for Honours would satisfy himself that no money transaction was connected therewith.
