RIFLE SHOOTING
NELSON DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. On Saturday and Wednesday the club held a competition for iMr C. Gurnow's trophy over ranges 800 and 900 yards, a choppy wind 1 and bad light on both days made shooting difficult. Rflmn. Elliott secured the leg-in for the trophy. Scores :
