At a meeting of the Motueka Harbour Board (reports the Star), a'-letter from Messrs Baigent Bros-V of Nelpoil, to the District Fruitpackers, Ltd., vfas read, applying for the lease of a portion of the seotioa occupied by, : the company, for the" purpose of-erecting 1 a case-making plant and building a jetty for scows .at Port Motueka. The board was asked, to' give its permission to the section being sublet. It, >ras decided to grant the request,, provided the interests of the board are-sale-guarded.
