WELLINGTON MARKETS. (By Telegraph.—Special to Mail.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 26. Griffiths and Co. report as follows on the Wellington market: —American apples are now on the market, and are selling from 14s to 19s, according to quality, variety, and size. Owing to wet weather to-day's shipments of Sturmers ex Pateena came on the market to late for to-day's sale, in any case they are being temporarily neglected by buyers on account of the American apples. Prices for Sturmers are expected to come down to about 14s and 15s. but there is a prospect of their rising a little within about a week. The following values have be.en ruling during the past week : Winter Coles 12s to 15s 3d; others 12s to 14s; Easter Beurres 12s to 13s 6d case. Apples, extra choice Sturmers 34s to 16s 6d, choice 12s to 14s ; Epps' 10s to 12s. Vegetables are still scarce and realising high rates. New potatoes 3£d to 4d lb. Green peas Is 9d peck, with a strong demand. e Rhubarb 8s to 10s dozen bundles. Asparagus, 6s to 9s dozen. Potatoes, old, 90s to 110s, according to 3 .yariety BoHiltry, butter, and eggs in good demand. ' WELLINGTON, Oct. 26. Burbidge and Son report' as follows on the Wellington market: —Our market slightly easier for apples owing to arrival of American apples ex steamer. Peas are in excellent demand, as all vegetables are selling at high values. Eggs keep firm. Prices : Sturmers 15s to 17s; Jonathans 16s to 18s; Wolseleys 14s to 16s; Cambridge Pippin 13s-to 15s 6d bushel cases. American realised ISs 6d . to 19s a case.

Green peas Is 9d to 2s peck. New potatoes 4d lb. Eggs Is 4d to Is 5d dozen. Poultry and pork in good demand. Poultry 5s to 7s 6d pair. Hens and ducks 7.s to 8s pair. Pork 6id to 8d lb. Rhubarb 8s to 12s dozen bunches.
