The change- of programme afc the Theatre Royal to-night will be headed by the third of the .Mutual star productions, in which the popular little fif-teen-year-old actress, Mary Miles Minter, is'starred. The story is clean, bright, attractive, and dramatic, with splendid acting and high-class producMiss Minter plays an attractive role "as.-a .young girl who is the descendant 'of an old,-Southern family, and is reared by- a-proud aunt who almost ruins' her niece's happiness through heifoolish" oride in \ forcing her to marry wealth and position. The picture is charmingly developed m the earlier stages, and rises to strong dramatic heights as the story develops, concluding with a snlendid and striking climax. Miss/Mintef is delightful throughout, beings-very sweet and lovable as well as giving, a finished and intelligent rendering' of. a fine part. She marries again, and the villain promptly turns up to blackmail. The" end is quite a surprise, and the whole drama is full of strange turns. The photography is remarkable, ahcl the dressing superb. Special mention must be made of dainty Muriel Ostriche, a coming World star of supreme fascination;- A highly amusing comedy, "The 3 v o'clock Train," and other fine subjects, complete an exceptionally strong programme. .
