"OUR DAY" APPEAL.
The dance 'held at the Provincial Hall lastj evening in connection with the Red Cross Pete was not as successful as anticipated. The solicitors of the city have made a special contribution to the "Our Day" appeal, and have subscribed £23 2s to. the Pund. The Committee wish to thank Mr W. Surrell for use of his motor lorry last Monday, and Mr A. Taylor who aid yeoman service with the that drove the dynamo for the lighting*. '
