POLITICAL CRiSIS SOCIALIST ATTACK ON THE WAR

•ROME, Oct. 19. Socialist deputies called Signor Bissolati, the War Minister, a renegrade, and accused him of- interfering with Count Cadorna's plans Dy offering to send half a million men to France while the enemy were threatening Italy. Signor Bissolati declared that the Socialists were causing disaffection, and declared that if the country were endangered he would not hesitate to order that its internal enemies be shot.
Uproar followed this statement.
