Already many have returned to their homes. Considerable numbers ? however, remain iri their positions. .Restrictions on-the u£e;of private stocks of coal and "coke will be removed after midnight on, Sunday, when prices will revent to" those ruling on Ist August. The ferries'have reverted to the prestrifce services. K~-is officially reported that the transport workers have declared'the strike offThe seamen meet to-day when, it is similar action will bo taken.
