ATTITUDE OF AUTHORITIES. •CALN'CELLATION. OF REGULATIONS RECOMMENDED. (Ukxtid Pkmi Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A special emergency meeting of the Dominion Executive of the Council of the National Reserve resolved that in consequence of the continued refusal of the authorities to give to the Reserve the proper recognition as an integral part of the defence forces, the Executive is' of opinion that it is no longer .possible to maintain the Reserve as an efficient organisation, and recommends to •the Minister of Defence that the Regulations of Ist March, 1916, published : by Order-in-< Council, be cancelled, together -with ail appointments gazetted therein.
