The Deutsche Kirchen Zeitung stateß that the Catholic clergy in Germany lias •inaugurated a powerfully organised peace movement. It adds: "After despatching Socialists to Stockholm, the German Government now presses Catholics into the service of hypocritical peace efforts." It also says: "The clergy increate a world-wide union of Eucharists. Catholic archbishops in other countries have promised warm support." v? FOOD STRAITS IN BERLIN.
