IN MEMORIAM.
BROWN.—In loving memory of G. W. Brown, No. 12/3274, who* was killed in action, "France," May 19, 1916. He is gone, but not forgotten, Never shall his memory lade; Sweetest thoughts will always linger On the Battlefield where he is laid. •No one he loved was by his side, To hear his last faint sigh, Or whisper just one loving word Before he closed his eyes. A- year to-day he passed away, From one who loved him dear. Still memory lasts the same to-day, As though he still were here. (Inserted by G. E. Lines.)
