Those of our readers interested in the fruit industry, and there are many of them, are reminded that entries for the famous apple show at Palmerston North close on 2nd June. It would be quite superfluous on our part to enlarge on the merits of this exhibition, as the show is so well known. A very full list is provided in the schedule, which may be had free on application to the secretary. Box 85, Palmerston Nprth. All features of farm, garden and dairy work are comprehensively set out in the prize list, and include butter, cheese, honey, fruit, vegetables, potatoes, grain, grass seeds, field roots, cookery, photography, needlework, deer heads, horse leaping, etc The Manawatu Poultry Association also has a prize list replete with good things. and both schedules may he obtained free on application to the secretary, Mr WT Penny, Box 85, Palmerston North.
