ANOTHER ELECTION?
(To the Editor.) Sir,—The outstanding feature of Mr W J- Moffatt's letter appearing in fast night's issues, is to my mind the fact that he is desirous of havinc another election. Of course, one should remember that an election is a costly affair, and surely, Sir, Mr Moffatt, as a member of the late Council, should be well satisfied with the "nest eeg" in the shaoe of the overdraft left, and not -wash to farther increase same by the cost of a further election. Perhaps Mr Moffatt in his hurry forgot to state in his letter that he would-stand all the cost of an election if held. I wonder ! I am, etc., POOR OLD RATEPAYER.
