SHORTAGE OF COAL
WELLINGTON GAS COMPANY'S DIETIOULTIES. (UhITBD PK23B Associatioh.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Wellington Gas Company announces that it has barely a fortnight's supply of coal in hand. Owing to a shortage of stocks it has been compelled to use its reserve supplies" which have been lying on the ground for years and gives inferior gas. It is hoped to shortr ly land a shipment to last an additional ten or twelve days, but the position is very uncertain.
