The first return of soldiers' vote for the House of Representatives gives 13,115 for Nationalists and 6213 for Labour. There are still 100,000 soldiers' votes to come. King O'Malley states that he will be a candidate for the Darwin vacancy caused by the death of 'Mr Howroyd, as he lias .had enough.
