OBJECTS OUTLINED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Rec. May 17, 9.20 a.m.) ~ <LONJ>ON, May 16. A White Paper dealing with the' British Trade Bank states that it will be called the British Trade Corporation. The general objects are to assist in the development of British trade and industries, procure orders for British manufacturers, connect new overseas tindertakings, and finance contracts in connection* therewith. There are seven directors, The charter states that _ the corporation has been established for 60 years to act as agents for any governments or authorities, bankers, manufacturers, merchants or others carry on th e business of contractors, merchants, etc., to acquire railways, docks, factories and other concerns, develop the resources of any part of the world, including Britain. It has established an information bureau for business and financial propositions, and it will undertake experimental research work.
