Further, it was intended to develop and \itilise' to the best advantage the whole shipbuilding'resources of the country, and as far as possible concentrate the whole organisation •in one authority. Sir Eric Geddes • would he responsible for . fitl■fillino- the shipbuilding requirements of the Admiralty, the War Office, and! the Ministry of Shi-pping. His position on the Board would place him in close touch with all three.
