AN APPEAL TO THE SOLDIERS. TO FIGHT THE GERMANS. 'Better's TelegrAm*
(Rec. May 16, 1.30 p.m.) PETROGRAD, 'May 15. The Council of Workmen's and Soldiers' Delegates has issued an appeal to the Army not to forget that the regiments of Emperor William are destroying revolutionary Russia. The loss oi free Russia will be irreparable. _ It is evident that the German Imperialists, after defeating the .Western Allies, will turn on Russia, seize the country, and enslave the - Russians. It urges the soldiers not to renounce the offensive, and warns them against enemy traps ot fraternisation. Peace will be unobtainable bv separate treaties or a fraternisation of isolated units.
