APPLICATION FROM FREEZING COMPANY. (United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 14. Before the Military Service Board application was made for a- rehearing of the case of William Orr 'Campbell, secretary of the New Zealand Refrigei-ating Company, on the ground of nsw material evidence. The chairman of directors of the company pointed; out that the industry: was' an essential one. The: general mana*ger was ill. the -assistant to the manager in London had died, arid the company was unable, to get anyone . with the necessary training and experience to take Campbell's place. The board refused to grant a re-hear-ing, but gave Campbell an extension of time till the Second Division is called 1 up, the company in the- meantime to take such steps as it thinks fit to find a man to understudy ICanipbell.
